Construction of 1044 W Van Buren in Chicago’s West Loop commenced in April 2022.  1044 Van Buren will house 196 apartment units, ground floor retail space, a fitness studio, co-working lounge, top floor amenity area and a 2500 square foot rooftop patio with grill stations, fire tables and lounge area.  The 18-story cast in place concrete building will also contain 78 onsite parking spaces on the second and third floors.  Fourth floor residents will have private outdoor paver patios while many of the residents on the upper floors will have private balconies.  Traditional brick, metal panels and large glass windows will be showcased on the first three floors followed by full height curtain wall glass & corten metal panels from the fourth floor up to the roof.  Construction is anticipated to wrap up in the third quarter of 2023.
